These are the largest conventions for bloggers and brands to network together, socialize, and build strong online communities that, in turn, form lasting relationships. Attending these conferences with your help will enable me to build and grow existing relationships and in addition, I can be a voice for your brand to the largest consumer demographic – women. As if all of that wasn't enough, I will learn how to make my blog more recognizable on the web, hence further promoting your brand!
I started my blog in February of 2010 as a way for me to interact with other women, share craft ideas, market my coupon workshops in the Charleston area, and share my savings. At the time I started The Crafty Charlestonian, I was a stay-at-home mom taking care of my 2 adorable children and a self-proclaimed "coupon addict" and "craft-a-holic." Since then, so much has changed. I’m still a stay-at-home mom, my girls are just as beautiful as ever, and I'm still addicted to crafting, but my blog has become much more than I ever thought it would be.
During the last year I’ve enjoyed all the opportunities this blog has provided for me. I’ve worked with some awesome companies and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. I can only imagine what the next year will bring for The Crafty Charlestonian. I have high hopes for where we'll be this time next year, with "multiple conference attendance" as one of my main goals.
