Sonicare Flexcare Review & Giveaway CLOSED

If you're like me, you've used a manual toothbrush your whole life (aside from one or two times ! tried one of those less-than-stellar battery operated disposable versions). If that sounds like you, you really don't know what you're missing! I sure didn't, but from the very first time I brushed with the Philips Sonicare Flexcare toothbrush I knew I had been letting my teeth down for years and years.







I really had NO idea how different a Sonicare toothbrush was from standard toothbrushes...and to be honest, I don't even know how to begin describing how different it is! I'm convinced that there's a little jet engine inside the thing and that's what makes it move so fast. : ) Regardless of what's inside, my mouth is a trillion times cleaner than it ever has been! My breath smells better, my teeth feel healthier, my smile is brighter, and I'm a happy girl. There are soooo many features unique to Sonicare, one of them being the UV Sanitizer. You think that after months and months of use that your standard toothbrush is germ-free? Wrong! Its pretty much a breeding ground for nasty bacteria and illness causing yuckiness, which is why I'll never use another manual toothbrush. And between each and every cleaning with my Sonicare, I'll put the little brush head in its adorable little "cleaning closet" as I've coined it, close the door, and push the button to activate the UV light. That way, I know for sure that my toothbrush will never contribute to gingivitis or any other illness I don't want!

We bought another brush head for Sean to use, so we're both "Sonicare-ing" now and absolutely LOVE it. I'll admit, we weren't the best brushers before having the Sonicare. We hardly ever brushed before bed but now, we both sit in the bathroom and "Ooh" and "Aah" at the other one with toothpaste dripping from his/her mouth as we watch the Sonicare in action. (I know...we're huge dorks. You can laugh at us...its okay.) Then we switch places and brush heads and the performance begins again. After we're all clean, we sit there in bed and talk about how different our mouths feel and how clean our teeth are and how they should make a Sonicare for kids that's gentler so Hensley and Daycie can grow up "Sonicare-ing" like us. (Yep. Again...total dorks.)

All in all, I'm absolutely IN LOVE with the Sonicare Flexcare toothbrush and soooo thankful to have received this to review. I honestly had no idea what I was missing out on, but now that I've experienced it, I can honestly say that if I were ever on a deserted island but had one thing with me, my choice would probably be the Sonicare. : ) While it might not help me get rescued (or survive while there), at least my mouth would be clean! LOL
