My Purple Toes is a delightful children's story about a Dad who has purple painted toenails. The story came from an unexpected pedicure with Author Blair Hahn's teenage daughter and its just a fantastic story.
Family Review Network sent us a copy of My Purple Toes and Hensley LOVES this book. Most of the pages involve counting Dad's purple toes or finding Dad's purple toes and she LOVES interactive books like that. There's also an adorable frog that's hiding on every page, so we normally read the book two or three times and then go through and find the "high-nin fog" (hiding frog) several times as well.
This is also a great book for families with multiple young children because its large enough that Hensley is entertained with it (instead of calling it a baby book) but its still a board book so I don't worry about Daycie ripping the pages.
At only $10.99 a copy, its totally affordable! In additon, a significant portion of the proceeds go to benefit Soles 4 Souls, a non-profit organization provided shoes to less fortunate people.
All in all, we LOVE this book around here. Its even made it into the coveted "Night Night Books" we read before bed. ; )
