Mabel's Labels Review & Giveaway CLOSED

 

Mabel's Labels is a Canadian-based company specializing in durable, washable, dishwasher- and washing machine-safe labels for all the stuff kids lose. Bottles, Sippy Cups, Shoes, Clothing, Pencils, etc. Basically, if your kid loses it, they've got a label for it.

Mabel's Labels sent both Hensley and Daycie the Colorful Ultimate Back-to-School Combo recently and everything in our house has now been labeled. LOL Not really, but I have labeled all the bottles, sippy cups, shoes, and even some toys that are prone to getting lost.



The labels I put on Daycie's bottles and both girls' sippy cups have made it through quite a few dishwasher loads unharmed and they're still going strong. The colors are still bright and vibrant, and they show no signs of coming "un-stuck" any time soon. I also put a couple labels onto some of Hensley's My Little Ponies (the ones we take everywhere with us) and even through numerous "swims" in our neighborhood pool and a day at the beach, Hensley's Ponies are still proudly marked as belonging to her.

These labels are wonderful for school-age kids, but I'm finding that they are FANTASTIC for my girls as well. Even though they aren't in school yet, Mabel's Labels are helping them learn several skills here at home. Hensley has learned to "read" her name because she's memorized the shape of the letters (its a sight word for her) and because her labels are pink and Daycie's are purple, she's learning that sippy cups aren't "community items" and everyone has their own. Now that we're all "Mabeled up" around here, she'll pick up a sippy cup and look to see if it belongs to her or Daycie. She has also started telling me that "Hence-eee" (her version of Hensley) starts with "H" and "DaycieBear" (her new nickname for Daycie) starts with "D" while pointing to the appropriate letter on the label.

Bottom line, these things are worth every penny. They're adorable, quality-made, super-durable, and in the end they'll pay for themselves by keeping track of your kid's stuff!
