I have to say with 100% honesty, that I liked everything I was sent. All the products performed just as well as their traditional competitors, only they are much more environmentally friendly. There were several products that really stood out to me and performed exceptionally well...read on to learn about those.

The Disinfecting Line



With a messy 8-month-old and an even messier 21-month-old eating at the same table, I'm always worried about the cleanliness of the surface they're eating on. Between the baby food, yogurt, mashed potatoes, and everything else that ends up smeared on the table, we're left with a germy mess at the end of every meal. But I've got to be very careful about what I clean with because my girls are eating there, and they don't need to eat around chemicals. I've been using vinegar for quite some time now to clean the table and my countertops. It cleans the grime off okay and I don't have to worry about ammonia or anything on the table, but it sure does smell bad! Thankfully the Seventh Generation Disinfecting Line is there to save the day for me. The Lemongrass and Thyme scent is pleasant and mild....AND my table and countertops are clean AND disinfected! YAY!

The Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener



To say that we have to be careful about what we use to wash our clothes with is a total understatement. We have only found ONE variety of ONE laundry detergent that doesn't break us out in rashes and actually cleans our clothes. And liquid fabric softener? That's a total "No-no" with sensitive skin. I was a little leery about trying both the detergent and the fabric softener, but I'm really glad I did. Not only are my clothes cleaner and my whites whiter, but they are softer than ever before! And guess what, NO RASHES!!! Seventh Generation Laundry Products rock my socks....and the rest of my clothes, too! ; )

The Dish Soap



There's only one word I can use to describe the Seventh Gen. dish soap....phenomenal. It cleans a sink full of dishes with just a little teensy bit, it doesn't dry my hands, and the scented versions smell delicious! LOVE. THAT. STUFF

The Glass & Surface Cleaner



Sean asked that I add this last one in....and its all because of his new "toy," our saltwater aquarium. Sean loves his aquarium...its a long-running hobby of his. That said, he's pretty knowledgeable about "common aquarium practices." One of which is NEVER using ammonia-based glass cleaners near your aquarium. Ammonia is highly toxic to the delicate balance of a saltwater aquarium, but with two kids constantly wanting to smudge up the glass, its hard to resist the urge to "Windex-it." Before the Seventh Generation Glass Cleaner arrived at our house, Sean would go outside, spray a paper towel with traditional glass cleaner and then come back in and wipe down the glass. Now, thanks to the all-natural version we're now stocking, he just sprays his paper towel right next to the glass and wipes away. I'm sure you already knew that Seventh Generation products were safe around kids and pets, but most people think "dogs and cats" when they think of pets. Thankfully, Seventh Generation was once again, thinking about stuff we don't....our little squishy fish, shrimp, anemones, and corals. Thanks Seventh Generation, on behalf of the little ecosystem in our living room.
